The Meraki Editorial Team would like to acknowledge the people and artists who have allowed us to create Meraki, a complex and diverse family of narratives. We would like to thank Professor Kevin Rabalais from the English Department, our wise and inspiring advisor. Thank you for your guidance on our debut publication. We would also like to express our gratitude for the creative writers and the visual artists who have entrusted us with their intimate and delicate work. Without your submissions, this journal would not have been possible. Additionally, we would like to express our immense gratitude to Loyola University New Orleans for providing us the opportunity to develop Meraki. The University’s faith in its students is irreplaceable and palpable. Lastly, we would like to thank you, the reader. Through you, literature is alive.
